Biography

Juanita was born in 12 May 1918 in Knight, Iron, Wisconsin. In the 1920 census Juanita (age 1) was the daughter of George Bergland in Knight, Iron, Wisconsin.^[1] In the 1930 census Juanita (age 11) was the daughter of George Bergland at 243 Mackinnon Street, Knight, Iron, Wisconsin, United States.^[2] She moved to Eau Claire with her family at the age of 12. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1936

Juanita married Paul Klawiter on 4 Mar 1939.^[3] They had three sons and one daughter together. They had three sons and one daughter together. After her divorce she worked at retail jobs in Eau Claire. Through her hard work and perseverance, she was able to help all four of her children through college.

In 1972, she married Vernon Resech. They resided at Popple Lake, near Jim Falls, until his death in 1981. She moved back to Eau Claire and lived there until she entered the nursing home in 1999.

She passed away on 12 May 1918 at Barron Medical Center Nursing Home in Barron, Barron, Wisconsin. Juanita was buried in Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin.^[4]
