Ivar Berglund was part of a Southern Pioneer Family.
Ivar Berglund was a Coloradan.
Ivar Lawrence Berglund was born in 1915, Lexington, Missouri. He was called Lawrence, rather then Ivar.[1][2]
Ivar Lawrence was the eldest son of Ivar G. Berglund and Nellie May Bray. [1][3]After Nellie died, Ivar G. remarried, his young wife, Margaret, found that Ivar Lawrence and John L. were too much to handle, so they were placed on a work farm. The place was not to the liking of either boy, so both ran away. Ivar G. and Margaret moved during that time period, as a result the boys didn't know where they now lived. It took the parish priest a month to find Ivar G. and Margaret and return the boys.[4]
