The marriage contract between Pierre Bourbaux[4] and Anne Besnard was done before notary Jean Cusson, who was royal notary in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, on 21 October 1676. [3] The actual marriage record is lost, Cap-de-la-Madeleine records for the era being only partial.
Anne is mostly listed as Besnard/Bénard on the records for her family, although some name her Anne Bourjoly. The baptisms of the children are done in either Cap-de-la-Madeleine or Champlain, the family were actually residents of the seigneurie de Linctôt, later named Dutort, now part of Bécancour.[5][3]

Death/Décès
Anne Besnard, widow of Pierre Bourbauts, resident of the seigneurie Dutort, had her funeral done in Bécancour on 11 May 1719, and was then carried to Cap-de-la-Madeleine where she was buried per her intentions, the record giving her 58 years of age.[9]

Anne, unfortunately, Last Name at Birth cannot include multiple names or commas. I found her baptism and she clearly has only one name and that is Menard. Would you edit the LNAB to reflect this name? Thank you!
