Walter Jones Bellamy was an American professional basketball player. A four-time NBA All-Star, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Walter Bellamy, son of Walter Bellamy and Theo Jones, was born in 1939.
Walt was the starting center for the 1960 American basketball team at the 1960 Summer Olympics. The team won the gold medal and ten of the players went on to play in the NBA.
He passed away in 2013.
