John Allen Bell was born 17 December 1883 in Maryland, USA. He was the son of John Thomas Bell and Mildred Elizabeth Chaney. He had an older sister Ivy I Bell.

He was white, unemployed, divorced, and a veteran of World War II having served as Technician 4th Grade of HQ Battery 311th Field Artillery. He was born 1 Feb 1911 in Washington DC and the son of John A Bell and the late Elsie E Harrell Bell. The informant of his death was the VA Hospital of Kacoughtan VA, US government records. Lawrence B Wood Funeral Home provided services and he was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington VA. [18]

On 25 August 1958, John Bell (74) died in District of Columbia. He was buried at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Prince George's County, Maryland. [19]
