Biography
Lewis Bedingfield is a part of US Black heritage.
Lewis was born about 1848 in Alabama. In 1867 he was noted as serving some type of military service.[1]
In 1870 and 1880 he was living with father George Bedingfield and two siblings in Limestone County, Alabama where he was working on a farm.[2][3]
Lewis married Hannah Freeman in LImestone County, Alabama in 1881.[4]
In 1900 Lewis was living with wife Judy (nee Coleman) and three children in Georgia, Limestone County, Alabama.[5]
He passed away after 1930, when he was living with wife Mealy (nee Skinner) and a son in Georgia, Alabama.[6]
