Biography

Grazia was born about 1781 to Calogero Becchina and Gaudenzia Cottone. In 1811 at about age 30, she married Antonino Mauceri. She died in Sambuca in 1851 at about age 70.

Research Notes

Grazia's death record indicates that she was born in Sambuca. She married in Santa Margherita (SMB) and a bride normally married in the town in which she was living. It is possible that her family moved from Sambuca to SMB prior to her marriage, and she moved back to Sambuca later, but her marriage record makes no mention of her being from another town.
