Bearce-202 and Bearse-20 appear to represent the same person because: same dates and family, sourced spelling of name should be used

Bearse-310 and Bearse-20 appear to represent the same person because: Found these when I uploaded my GED file of my family tree. I believe they should be merged to complete information.

I found this note on Ancestry. I'm trying to determine a source. If this information is true, then Benjamin married Jane Collins and had children with her:

"Benjamin's first wife, Elizabeth Godfrey, died in 1742. He had to fight his father-in-law for guardianship of the five children he had with Elizabeth. In 1743, he was granted custody of Jonathan, Moses, Elizabeth, George, and Benjamin. The next year (1744) he married Jane (Collins) Snow and they had 4 children - David (1744), Martha (1746), Sarah (1748), and Hannah(1754)."

People who descend from this couple very likely qualify for membership in General Society of Mayflower Descendants, through the Godfreys. Morag
