Elgin Baylor was a Hall of Fame basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers and one of the first Black superstars in the National Basketball Association. He was also a pioneering team executive with the Los Angeles Clippers following his retirement.[1]
Elgin Bay Gaylor was born in 1934. He was the son of John Baylor and Uzziel Lewis.
He died in 2021[2] and is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, California.[3]
