Biography

When Joseph Josef (Jozef Josph) Barta was born on September 20, 1816, his father, Jozef, was 26 and his mother, Anna, was 26. He had seven sons and one daughter with Anna (Klimešová) Kleinish between 1852 and 1877. He died on March 20, 1899, in Linn, Iowa, having lived a long life of 82 years, and was buried in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Jozef Bárta was born in 1816 in Desna, Svitavy Czechia. He was the son of Jozef Bárta and Anna Střítecká. He passed away in 1898 in Iowa.
