Biography

Hannah Barstow was born on January 20, 1679 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Her parents were Michael Barstow and Rebecca Train Barstow.^[1]

She married John Chadwick on March 19, 1702 in Watertown.^[2] They moved first to Attleborough, Massachusetts and then to Worcester, Massachusetts. The couple had seven children.^[3]

Research Notes

A Hannah Chadwick (w. John) died on October 21, 1732 in Attleborough, Massachusetts "in her 44th y.". The Hannah of this profile would have been 53 in 1732.^[4]

According to Boyd and McCracken, she died in Worcester in May, 1732 at age 53,^[3] however there is no record that I have found in the Worcester Vital Records.

Unsourced family trees show Hannah's death date to be May 4, 1752 in Worcester.^[5]
