Thomas Barns was a Revolutionary War soldier. He was listed on the Muster Rolls of Capt. Jeduthan Harper's Company, Chatham Co. Regiment, Sept., 1772. Serving with him were his brothers Jehu, and James Barns and brother-in-law Jacob Teague.
