Biography

Edna (Bamford) Davies is an Anzac who served in World War Two.

Edna was born in 1922. She was the daughter of Ernest Bamford and Margaret Mawson.

Edna enlisted with the Royal Australian Air Force, Service Number 104471 on 23 September 1942. She was an Aircraftwoman with the 1 Flying Boat Repair Depot. ^[1]

In 1954 the Bamford family lived in Bury St, Euroa, Victoria. ^[2] Ernest Albert Bamford (Saw-miller) with Edna Murl Bamford (Clerk). Margaret Florence Bamford (home duties) lived in Florence St, Euroa.

Edna Bamford married Rosser Pierce Davies in 1959. ^[3]

In 1967 the Davies family lived in 20 Campbell St, Kew North, Victoria. ^[4] Rosser Pierce Davies (PMG - Linesman) and Edna Murl Davies (Typist).
