Rachel was born about 1833 at Hants Harbour, Newfoundland, daughter of Henry Balsom and Sarah Short.
Rachel married James Reid on Nov 8, 1860 at Hant's Harbour, Newfoundland.[1]
She passed away in Sep 11, 1913 at Clarenville, Newfoundland.[2]

Their is no online record of Rachel's birth, All of the Balsoms who were living in Dark Hole, now Clarenville, during that time period were children of Henry and Sarah.
