Biography

Jasper was born in 1886 in Kentucky. He was the son of S W Baker and Susie Epperson Baker.

He married twice. First to Gladys Monroe in 1917, and later to Maggie Hunter, sometime before the 1930 census. Maggie had been previously married to Clark Mills.

In 1918 when he applied for the WW I draft, he was working as a hotel manager. In 1930 he was working as a real estate salesman. In 1940 he was working as a teacher. When he registered for the WW II draft in 1942, he was unemployed and still married to Maggie.

He passed away in 1951 at the age of 63. His death record says he was divorced at that time. He was buried at the Baker Cemetery, Flat Lick, Knox County, Kentucky.
