Edward Berry and Ann Ayers were married after banns at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 16th October 1819.[1] They were bachelor and spinster and both of the parish. Ann was able to sign her own name on the marriage register whilst Edward could only make his mark with a cross. The witnesses were William Slatter, Elizabeth Berry, William Walker and Hannah Ayers.

Ann died at the age of 50 in Hanborough in 1849.[3] She was buried at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 16th July 1849.[4]
