Life
In 1310 Mary married Louis I, Duke of Bourbon son of Robert, Count of Clermont and Beatrix of Bourbon. They had eight children,
Peter I, Duke of Bourbon (1311?1356), killed at the Battle of Poitiers
Jeanne (1312?1402), married in 1324 Guigues VII, Count of Forez
Marguerite (1313?1362), married on July 6, 1320 Jean II de Sully, married in 1346 Hutin de Vermeilles
Marie of Bourbon (1315?1387, Naples), married first in Nicosia in January 1330 Guy of Lusignan (d. 1343), titular Prince of Galilee, married second on September 9, 1347 Robert of Taranto, the titular Latin Emperor. Only her first marriage produced surviving children.

Beatrice of Bourbon (1320 ? December 23, 1383, Danvillers), married first at Vincennes in 1334 John of Luxembourg, King of Bohemia as his second wife, married herself second c. 1347 Eudes II of Grancey (d. 1389)

LOUIS I, Count of Clermont, la Marche, and Castres, son and heir, born about 1280. He married at Pontoise in Sept. 1310 MARIE OF HAINAULT, daughter of Jean (or Jan) II d'Avesnes, Count of Hainault, Holland, and Zeeland, lord Friesland, by Philippe (or Philippine), daughter of Henri V, Count of Luxembourg and La Roche. They had three sons, Pierre (I) [Duke of Bourbon], Jacques (died young), and Jacques (2nd of name) [Count of La Marche and Ponthieu, Constable of France, and five daughters, Jeanne (wife of Guigues VII de Forez, Count of Forez, seigneur of Thiers in Auvergne, etc.), Beatrix (wife of Jean I [de Luxembourg], King of Bohemia and Poland, and Eudes II, seigneur of Grancey in Burgundy), Marguerite (wife of Jean II, seigneur of Sully, and Hutin de Vermeilles, Chev., seigneur of Vermeilles in Picardy), Marie (wife of Guy de Lusignan, Prince of Galilee, and Robert of Sicily, Prince of Tarento, titular Emperor of Constantinople, Prince of Achaia), and Philippe (or Philippine). By his mistress, Jeanne de Rochefort, he had one illegitimate son, Jean [seigneur of Rochefort], and one illegitimate daughter, Jean (wife of Guichard de Chastellus, seigneur of Chateaumorand). He was created Duke of Bourbon and Court-Pair of la Marche 27 Dec. 1327. LOUIS I, Duke of Bourbon, Count of Clermont, la Marche, and Castres, died 28-31 Jan. 1341/2, and was buried in the Church of the Jacobins in Paris. His widow, Countess Marie, died at Murat castle 28 August (or Sept.) 1348, and was buried in the Church of the Franciscans at Champaigue in Bourbonnais.
