Abigail Atwood was born at Berkley, Massachusetts, 10 May 1761, the daughter of Abial Atwood and Hannah Babbitt; ^[1] died at Oxford, Massachusetts, 7 Dec 1799; ^[2] married at Oxford, 11 Apr 1778, Capt. Ebenezer Reading, ^[3] born at Middleborough, Massachusetts, c1755, the son of Thomas Redding and Sarah Smith; ^[4] died at Oxford, 7 Feb 1817. ^[5]
