Edward Carmichael Aschoff was born in 1985 in Texas. ^[1] He was the only child of the late Peter Aschoff Patricia Edwards. ^[2]

He was raised in Oxford, Mississippi and graduated from the University of Florida.

According to his obituary published in The Oxford Eagle, he died "Dec. 24, 2019, in Los Angeles, Calif., of HLH syndrome, a complication of pneumonia and underlying non-Hodgkin's lymphoma." ^{[2] [3]}
