Neville Fairbairn Armytage enlisted on 12 May 1917 and served as a Gunner with the Australian Imperial Force, Field Artillery Brigade, Reinforcement 33, and 2nd Division Ammunition Column. He returned to Australia on the 11th August 1919 and was discharged on the 4th September 1919. ^[2]
