Communication Preferences: I am interested in communicating private message with cousins and anyone else with an interest in genealogy. Here is my family tree.
I have started to add add my family tree, initially limited to my anchestors and their sibblings, occassionally some descendants of my anchestors and their spouces. I try to keep it accurate, but can NOT guarantee that all data, at all time, is 100% correct. Please notify me, if you find any flaws.

I have added links to sources, mostly 'Arkiv Digital' and Riksarkivet for Swedish data and links to corresponding anchestor profiles on the FamilySearch website (if they exist). I have not added any profiles for 'now living people' - I hope they, can and will, add themselves.

Timeline

  • 1960 Aug 08 I was born and my parents were Lennart Andersson and Eva Nyqvist . Our family lived in Bankeryd, at that time it's own municipality but later merged with Jönköping.
  • 1980 June I graduate from high school 'Erik Dahlbergsgymnasiet' in Jönköping after 4 years studies and before that 9 years of studies in the compulsary school in Bankeryd.
  • 1980 Aug I start my 10 months of mandatory military service at A6 in Jönköping.
  • 1981 Aug 01 I move to Västerås and start my employment with ASEA.
  • 1986 Sep 27 I get married and over the coming years we have 3 children
  • 2021 Sep 30 I terminate my employment after 40 consequtive years with ASEA, ABB, Adtranz, Bombardier, CSC and DXC.

I believe we are distantly related, so I compared our DNA at GEDmatch and here are the results:

Do you know of any maternal direct line descendants that would be willing to take a full sequence mtDNA test ?
