Biography

When Olivia Allison was born on 20 March 1877, in Transylvania, North Carolina, United States, her father, Francis Allison, was 47 and her mother, Susan Barnett, was 38. She married John Logan Ball on 27 February 1911, in Brevard, Transylvania, North Carolina, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Little Pine Creek, Madison, North Carolina, United States in 1920 and Madison, North Carolina, United States in 1930. She died on 30 July 1938, in Marshall, Madison, North Carolina, United States, at the age of 61, and was buried in Dry Pond Cemetery, Marshall, Madison, North Carolina, United States.

Karen, I have not seen any other names in any record, but I have the family Bible of Olivia and Logan, which uses Olivia Allison as her name. I am sure she wrote in the Bible as she was a College Graduate, which was a big deal then.
