On May 1, 1579/80 (see researchers Notes) in St Dionis Backchurch, London, England, Edward married Rose Davis born 1559 in the parish of St. Peter in the Cornhill Ward of the City of London, England. ^{[2] [3]}

Their daughter Joan, died young and was buried on 3 Dec 1580 in St Dionis, Backchurch, London. ^[4]
