Biography

Thomas was born in 1786. He was the son of Thomas Allen and Abigail Brown. He passed away after 1850.

Research Note

The 1928 history of Livermore, Maine, usually a reliable secondary source, says that Thomas Allen married, as his second wife, Lucretia Baker.^[1] No record of this marriage has been found, and in 1850, Thomas Allen was living with his daughter Elizabeth (Allen) Barrows and her family at Livermore, with his youngest son Lucius, but with no wife shown.^[2] That 1850 Census record is the last record found of Thomas, and it is possible that at some time after that he married Lucretia.
