Biography

Eliza Allen was born in 1854 in Sedgley, Staffordshire^[1]. She was the daughter of Enoch Allen and Sarah Jane Hale.

In 1873 she married Job Flavell in Dudley, Staffordshire,^[2][3] and they had 8 children: Enoch Allen (b.1874, d.1948), John Thomas (b.1875, d.1947), Samuel (b.1877, d.1878), Sarah Jane (b.1879, d.1913), Caroline (b.1882, d.1960), Elizabeth (b.1884, d.1884), Emily (b.1885, d.1886) and Job (b.1890, d.1973).

Eliza died in 1899 in Sedgley aged 45^[4].
