Biography

Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Allen was born on December 28, 1825, in York, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of Elijah Allen and Margaret Humphreys, her father, Elijah, was 20, and her mother, Margaret, was 14. She married Leonard BUBAR on October 27, 1849, [1]in New Brunswick, Canada. They had five children in 13 years. She died on April 23, 1907, in her hometown, having lived a long life of 81 years
