Biography
Martha was born about 1854. She is the daughter of John Allen and Felicia Lasater. From FAG: Miss Martha Lavenia Allen was born on April 27, 1854 in Tennessee, the daughter of John Maxwell Allen (1822-1905) and Felicia Ann (Lasater) Allen ((1825-1908).
Living at 1900 Eastland Avenue, Nashville, she was 85 years old when she died at home of bronchopneumonia on December 24, 1939. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.
Most of the above is from her Death Certificate, with E M All(?) of 3815 Whitland Avenue as the informant.
