Biography

Rose was born in 1665.

Before 1685, Rose married Nathaniel Howland in Bristol County, Massachusetts. They had the following children:

1. Rebecca Howland Russell 12 August 1685 – 8 November 1727
2. John Howland 14 April 1687 – October 1749
3. James Howland 18 February 1689 – 13 December 1748
4. Sarah Howland Akin 15 November 1690 – 1790
5. George Howland 11 December 1693 – Deceased
6. Mary Howland Smith 23 April 1699 – 19 August 1776
7. Content Howland Briggs Howland 20 December 1702 – 1802

Rose inherited 10 pounds from her father. On November 10, 1719, Rose and her siblings were grantors in the sale of land belonging to their deceased brother Josiah Allen. Bristol County, Massachusetts Land Records, v13-42 (2nd entry on the left side)., 1636-1850]]

She died in 1724.
