Clifford Alexander Jr. is Notable.

Clifford Alexander was the first Black secretary of the Army, serving during the Carter Administration from 1977-1981. He also chaired the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under President Johnson.

Clifford Alexander was born in 1933 in New York City, New York.^[1] He was the son and only child of Clifford Alexander, Sr and his wife Edith McAllister.^[2][3][4]

Clifford married Adele Logan in 1959 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States.^[5]

He died in 2022 in his home in Manhattan, New York at the age of 88.^[6]
