Biography

Sarah (Agnew) Davis is a part of US Black heritage.

Sarah A Agnes was born on June 24, 1918, in Arkansas to Jerry Montague Agnew and Mary Dorothy Knight. She had three siblings: Jerry Montague Jr, Mayme, and Mary Louise, who died as an infant. She lived most of her life in Van Buren, Arkansas, where her father owned and operated a general store. She married Joseph C Davis, a carpenter, in Los Angeles, California, in 1955, when she was 37 years old. She had no known children. She died on July 17, 1982, in Los Angeles, at the age of 64.
