Adkins-2716 and Adkins-387 appear to represent the same person because: This Margaret was originally shown as a sister of Jesse but he had no sister Margaret. I disconnected the parents so she could be merged into Jesse's daughter Margaret. Any date conflicts should not prohibit the merge as Adkins-2716 is the incorrect profile.
Hope you're doing well. Just letting you know I've got my Margaret (Adkins) Watts matched & reworked to look more like Adkins-387 like you asked me to do before they can be merged. With the exception of some additional sources I've included on mine and an image of the 1850 census showing Margaret, Daniel and their children listed, that's about the only difference from yours. The other few differences are listed below.
My Margaret (Adkins) Watts has all of the children between her and Daniel Jackson Watts, Sr. listed. I believe yours only has my Perlina Jane Watts Isaacs listed. You may want to add the other children before you do the merge...either way, it's up to you. Also, you may want to add the place of death, too -- it's Stonewall Magisterial District, Wayne, West Virginia.
If you wanted to go ahead and add me as a Profile Manager, I can always do the merge (my email address is [email address removed] . We're coming up on one month Sept. 10. I know you mentioned you'd add me as a PM but not to the Trusted List. I figure you're probably extremely busy like I am on here so I'd be more than happy to do the merge so we can get it done.
Also, wanted to let you know I've cleaned up all the old badly formatted gedcom source info/ancestry source info for my Margaret (Adkins) Watts ( many of these old Gedcom uploads have broken links and they're are a mess). I don't ever delete/change them, I just tidy them up by reformatting them under the new Style Guidelines and I always add additional verifiable sources so people can actually check the source. Just following this: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:GEDCOM-Created_Biographies#Badly-Formatted_Source_Information and this:
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:GEDCOM-Created_Biographies to clean the profile up a bit. Just holler when you can and let me know how everything looks to you. I appreciate it. Have a great weekend and thanks in advance! :-)
Hi Timothy, Hope this message finds you doing well. Margaret "Peggy" Adkins is my 3rd Great-Grandmother. I've sent a request to merge my Margaret "Peggy" Adkins Watts with your Margaret Adkins Watts as they are the same person. I've also requested to join the Trusted List. I haven't updated all of the familial relationships for Adkins-6392 as I was hoping to merge the two profiles. Thank you so much in advance. Kind Regards, Lea Isaacs
