Biography

John Adams was baptized at Ipswich Massachusetts on September 13, 1719, son of Samuel Adams and Mary Burley. ^[1][2]

He married Mary Hunt of Concord on October 13, 1746. ^{[3] [1]}

He removed to Sutton, and later Uxbridge, (section now Northbridge) Massachusetts. ^[2]

He is named in the will of his father Samuel, written on July 23, 1747. ^[4]

In his mother's will written on April 29, 1771, she left bequests to, among others, her son John Adams of Uxbridge. ^[5]

He died at Northbridge, Massachusetts in his 77th year on April 24, 1796 ^[6] and is buried in the Old Cemetery at Northbridge, Massachusetts. ^[7]
