Biography

Sergeant Aaron Adams served with 14th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Aaron was born 28 September 1752, in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He was the son of John Adams (bef.1719-1796) and Mary (Hunt) Adams (abt.1723-1787).[1]

Aaron served in the American Revolution. He answered the Lexington Alarm in Captain Sibley's company.[2] In 1777, Aaron was a Sergeant in Captain March Chases' company, Colonel Jonathan Holman's Regiment. The company marched to Saratoga to reinforce the Northern Army.[3][4][5][6]

On 31 December 1776, Aaron married Sarah H. (Dodge) Adams (1759-1814) in Sutton, Massachusetts.[7]

He passed away 28 October 1843, at age 92, in Northbridge, Massachusetts.[8] He is buried in Old Cemetery in Northbridge, Worcester County, Massachusetts.[9]
