John Adams performed Patriotic Service in Massachusetts in the American Revolution.

John Adams is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A201287.

John Adams was born 13 Aug 1719 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony Colony. He is the son of Timothy Adams and Dorothy (Chamberlain) Adams.[1]

John Adams provided civil service to the patriot cause during the Revolutionary War, by loaning the government money.[2] John Adams and his wife Sarah (Sary) were cousins to Presidents John and John Quincy Adams. They are buried at Heart Pond Cemetery in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts.

Adams-67038 and Adams-20006 do not represent the same person because: John Adams (1719-1791) is the son of Timothy Adams (1677-1761) and Dorothy (Chamberlain) Adams (1676-1766). It appears John Adams (1711-1791) may be the son of Benjamin Adams and Mary ( ) Adams b. 18 Apr 1711 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts?
