Biography

Birth

Elizabeth Abbott was born at Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts), on 22 Feb 1795, the daughter of Hull Abbott and his second wife, Anna, who is claimed to be Hannah Wing.^[1]

Marriages

1. On 11 Jan 1815, Elizabeth Abbott of Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts), and Benjamin Fillebrown of Kingfield Plantation in Oxford County Massachusetts (later the town of Kingfield, Maine) published at Livermore their intention to marry, and they married there in 16 Feb 1815.^[2] Benjamin and Eliza (Abbott) Fillebrown had one child, a daughter, Matilda Fillebrown.^[3] Benjamin died at Kingfield in early 1816.^[4]
2. On 22 Dec 1816, Elizabeth (Abbott) Fillebrown married her deceased husband's brother, Thomas Fillebrown, at Kingfield, Maine (then in Massachusetts).^[5] There were 10 children from this marriage, listed in the 1910 Fillebrown genealogy.^[6]

Death

No record has been found of the death of Elizabeth Fillebrown. In 1850, she was living at North Anson, Maine, with her age shown as 55.^[7]
