Map of early Henrico county land patents in the area between Richmond and Bermuda Hundred, overlaid on modern map. This is the area where John Hatchett lived upon his arrival and early life in Virginia Colony. This area was carved out of Henrico county into the newly created Chesterfield county in 1749. I created this map and release it into the public domain.
