[Living Turner]
The Steam Ship Osmanli was wrecked off D'Estrees Bay in 1853. Everyone on board was saved, but some bars of gold on board were never found again and looting was suspected. The ship was en route from Melbourne to Port Adelaide, at the height of the gold rush.
