Edward Collard died in December, 1824 in Windham Twp., Upper Canada. He died without a will. This petition was filed by his wife Sarah on June 29, 1825 in Charlotteville, London District, to request permission to settle his estate. Sarah shows her mark "X" at the end of the document as she could not sign her name.
