Pacific Star
The Pacific Star was a campaign medal of the British Commonwealth,
awarded for service in the Second World War. One clasp, Burma, was instituted to be worn on the medal ribbon where recipients later became eligible for the Burma Star (both stars could not be earned).
It was also awarded to certain foreign servicemen, such as Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz of the United States.
