Hi everyone! I'm looking forward to find some information about great grandfather. His name is Sebastian Mottura, and he was born in Nichelino, Torino, in 1888. I will appreciate so much if somebody can give me a hand on this. Thanks in advanced!

I took a look at the Nichelino civil registrations through my usual (software) back door, and they're not only badly out of focus, but also created by people who apparently had some sort of moral objection to the use of ::gasp!:: numerals. (Everything is spelled out in words only.) I was therefore unable to even locate the year on any of the pages, unfortunately.

Anyone can sign up for a FamilySearch account.

But you can not access to all the information.
There are certain things that you have to go to a Family History Center to access.  I've done that many times and didn't need any special account, and it was all free.
Access depends on country/state.

Not available in South Australia
Whether or not you can access or download some indexes and images on FS is determined by your religion (Mormon/LDS or not), and whether you're at a FHC or Affiliate Library.

There are records that only LDS can access. There are also records that LDS can access anywhere, but non-LDS can only access at a FHC. But since October 2019 FS no longer discloses to non-LDS users which records LDS users have better access to.

I went today to a Family History Center and from there I could access to this link: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSDW-J9G4-8 but I can not access from my computer, and I really need that document to find my great grandfatherbirth certificate, so I will apreciate so much I someone could send me that to my email. Thanks again in advanced.

Juliet, when I tried the link it said the document was only available at a Family History Center or affiliate library.  Were you not able to print it while you were there?  Or download it to a flash drive?
They did not let me take a picture or download me, that's why I'm asking you if you can help me!!!
Wow.  That's surprising.  I'm afraid I don't have any way of helping.  Sorry.
Thanks yo so much Julie!!!!!
Was it the FHC staff or the FS website that stopped you from downloading?

Some records on FS cannot be downloaded. As with the rules that you have to be at an FHC, this is due to a contract between FS and the record owner.
Did you by any chance save a film-and-image number version of that link somewhere? As it stands, I cannot translate it into anything that would allow me to at least get you a screenshot.
