How should you deal with a name change in One Name Studies?

I'm not entirely sure whether this fits into this category since it seems to fit within at least two of them but I'll ask the question anyway.

So my last name (Bizony) was the result of a name change in the 1940s from Zukmann to Bizony. I'm wondering what the consensus is on accounting for name changes even if, had it not been for a name change, the name would have remained the same? Would I have to create two One Name Studies or highlight the name change to Bizony in the Zukmann ONS, for example?

I'm mostly curious but any clarification on this would be appreciated.

I would suggest just noting it in the Zukmann Name Study.  After all, if you created a Bizony Name Study, there would only be a handful of people for it to cover.  You could always create a Bizony Name Change freespace page and link it to the Zukmann Name Study (with a link back, of course!) detailing when and why it changed.
