I'm still looking at Peter Mayhew's ancestors - I added a fairly minor connection to the tree last night - I seriously doubt it will improve anyone's connection, but you never know. We'll see if something turns up over the next day or two.

According to GeniCom she is my 21st cousin four times removed, the connection there goes through Jan I, Duke of Brabant and Limburg, Carrie's ancestor would be a descendant of his sister Marie Capet, Queen consort of France. (see the ancestors of Winifred Dyer, mother of Agnes A. Jennings)

My origins from the Dukes of Brabant have been validated, I have no idea about the origins of Carrie Fisher, so beware.....check the data on GeniCom before you copy it !!

Problem is the connections to Carrie and Peter need breaking (one man really didn't go to America, another wasn't the 4th son called William, baptised miles from his siblings and parents. ) The third goes through several unsourced profiles created by gedcom so have no idea whether it's 'right' or not.
