FindAGrave links Suggestion lists

Question

A WikiTreer added several thousand Farrington profiles based on FAG links. Most have suggested birth dates that are a few years off to as much as 83 years off and no locations.

I have been working on connecting the profiles or at least adding a location so they will appear in a geographical suggestion listing.

Why do the profiles not have FAG suggestions (locations, wrong birth dates if provided at FAG)?  Is it the type of FAG link that is used in the profiles?  Just curious.

This profile wasn't identified as FAG, since I am processing only "www.findagrave.com". I now adjusted it to "findageave.com" and it should get processed.

I believe the Suggestions are looking at templates for comparison, not full links. These links are also in an old format, to they may be part of the issue. I am adding a Tech tag to get attention from Aleš, as I am sure he knows what needs to be done...

Great article! I might add that the 2,000+ memorials I added 2011 to 2014 have mistakes and I cannot edit anything or add burial information etc since they kicked me out in June 2014 for no good reason. I was literally in the middle of adding burial information and I got locked out. Since then, after talking to relatives and researching info, I have found many mistakes of my original F.A.G. memorials. I cannot edit so the info is stays untrue. It is not right for anyone into genealogy to have to take my mistakes as gospel. I like correct info!! I can't even change F.A.G. stuff when alerted in suggestions on Wikitree. I've tried to rely on FB groups to change info, but they don't want to. Sigh. I am at a loss to know what to do!

No, I haven't. I tried many times for months in 2014 when I was locked out and my emails wouldn't even get to them. I was locked out for no good reason. I don't even know what email to use to contact them since I am not a member
