Please help me with birth info on William E. Brownlee, father of Lester R. Brownlee

They were residents of Jersey City, NJ, I believe Lester was born in 1886.

I saw some info on them in the 1890 US Census.  Maybe I am wrong about William's middle initial.  Thank You, Michael, sorry I didn't leave enough info.
