Manager on Suggestion Report Shows Orphan

Question

I recently added a few Trout profiles to my family tree. When I checked the profiles managed by me suggestion report, none of Trouts were on it. They show up on the profiles related to me page and appear as orphan profiles.

When I look at the profiles, I am the profile manager so I don't understand how this is happening.

Maybe you have no suggestions!!  You only get a suggestion if there is a problem with one of the profiles.

There was a suggestion. It just didn't appear under the profiles I manage. When I looked under relations, I can see two Trout profiles (I'm manager on both) but showed as "Orphan" under Manager column. For Charles, FAG has wrong birth date (doesn't agree with Ohio birth record). For Diane, it didn't like the hyphenated middle name.

It sounds like you are saying you are looking at a 'profiles managed by me' suggestion report.  If so, where are you getting that from? I am not aware of a suggestion report like that.

The Suggestions link in the My WikiTree dropdown menu is for suggestions in profiles managed by the relevant WikiTreer.

The Suggestions link under the WikiTreeID of a profile is for suggestions related/connected to that profile.

Thanks, Lindy.  I forgot about the My Wikitree.  I always use the other one.

I'll take the opportunity to say this: when something is marked as a Suggestion in spite of being correct according to the sources, you can use the option of marking it as a False Suggestion. This hides it from the report, making it easier to see what still remains to be done.

The only problem is that I wouldn't have known there was a suggestion on a profile that I manage, if I hadn't clicked on the related link!

This weeks report does show me as profile manager for Len Trout and not as an orphan profile.

But he doesn't appear on "suggestions managed by me" report, but only on the "suggestions in profiles related to me".

Since I'm the profile manager, why doesn't his suggestion appear in my profile manager report?
