Connecting Fortins: if the father is linked, why not children?

I'm targeting Dakota Territory profiles of Fortin family to connect them to the main tree. If I have a father successfully linked with sources, why do his children still show up with the unconnected icon? I listened to the video but still don't know.

When did you add the children? It can take a day or two for the system to update.
