Its the 6th of June in Australia the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day landing at Normandy, over 150,000 troops stormed Normandy beaches ,the number of Allied combat casualties on D-Day was about 10,000 six Australian veterans where among 2 dozen fellow veterans who were awarded France's Legion of Honour for their role in D-Day aerial assault
