Is it possible to have a free space profile not appear alphabetical in the category pages

I was wondering if it is possible for Free space profiles to not appear alphabetically on the parent category?

For instance the Puahue Cemetery Free space Page appears on the Puahue Cemetery Category underneath the P's so could be hard to find when there are a lot of Profiles added.

You can a sort delimiter with the pipe symbol.

will appear under C.

R J Horace just tried that and I did a different version and it still has it alphabetically on the Category Page. Maybe it doesn't work between Space and Category pages
It works for Subcategories, but sort keys aren't honored in the People and Pages section.

If the free-space has the regular category link, the free-space will be displayed in the alphabetical list on the category page.

If you don't want the free-space to appear in the alphabetical list, use the alternate link: :Category:Category_Name. Note the colon before the word Category.

Also note that the alternate link behaves the same as ordinary text and not like the regular category code.

edit: Here is the help page that describes this procedure:

A page like that one can (and in my opinion should) have a prominenr link in the category description. Create that by clicking the edit link on the category page. Then insert language like "The main page for this category is Puahue Cemetery."

Note that you don't need the words "free space page" in a page title.

As per Ellen's note, I would recommend using the same name for the category and its related free-space, Darren. This procedure would make finding them easier (in my opinion).

You would then have the following page names:

 • Category: Puahue Cemetery, Te Awamutu, Waikato
 • Space: Puahue Cemetery, Te Awamutu, Waikato
@Lindy: Except that commas in the name of a space page make it impossible to add an image that has been uploaded to a different page/profile to the space page with the comma. This is because the field for adding profiles to a picture can add more than one profile at once to an image - it interprets commas as a separator between profile IDs and cannot be persuaded to treat a name with a comma as one whole.
Thanks for the explanation, Eva!

I do recall that many WikiTreers have noted the incompatibility of free-spaces and punctuation.
