New Category created for cross-over people re French roots

Question

I have created:  Category: Needing French Roots Review and put it under the French Roots Project category.  

This category is for profiles that cross over from France to various colonies either directly or through descent, for French Roots project to review and act upon as they see fit.

This will be applied in lieu of putting the French Roots Project logo on profiles, which was inappropriate in fact, it is for them to determine whether a profile should be managed by the project or not.  It serves to inform them of the existence of a profile and possible further connections to be created in France, as they see fit.

Is there a French Roots (Heritage) category other then the {{French_Roots}} ? ..  Am I using {{French Roots}} incorrectly ? (inappropriately)

Or .. can I still use {{French Roots}} to indicate French genealogy/heritage ?

from what I understand and have been told,  {{French Roots}} is just a sticker that shows a person has French heritage, and doesn't do more.  French Roots people can correct me if I got that wrong.

Yes Jerry, by all means use the {{French Roots}} sticker on profiles to signal French heritage, if you like it. It is at the discretion of the profile manager, as long as the profile is not overloaded with stickers.

The {{French Roots Project}} template, on the other hand, is reserved for profiles managed by the project.

Thanks Danielle, good idea.

Also, there is now a "France, Needs Profiles Created" category under the 'Needs Profile Created" category that may be added to any profiles with sufficient sources to create more profiles for family members.

Thank you Isabelle, almost called the category ''French connection'', but that was a bit too ridiculous.  Good book though.

Taken note of the sub on needs profiles created, was needed, thank you.

Here's an update. There used to be a space page for projects with a French connection to post profiles needing review (usually because of doubts about attached ancestors). This space has not been used for ages, so the France project is officially discontinuing it. It's replaced by a note to add the profile to the Needs Review category and post in G2G.
