This man died in the Empress of Ireland disater in 1914.

I recently received an e-mail about him from a person who doesn't appear to be a Wikitree member (1), and I asked him for sources on the matter, which he provided (2).  Can someone create his parents please?  Needs some further research obviously, once the parents are created I can connect him up.

1) Everetts father was Alfred DeBow. He is buried with his father in pedicodiac nb He wife wS buried in lyons cemetry in cfb gagetown nb they had one son 10 yrs old who went to live with her brother in saint john nb. Her maden name was McKim

It's PPP so you may want to add EMPRESS_IRELAND as a tag. The project is the only manager.
hi Deb, Empress tag wouldn't come up, I am on that project in any case.

Father is De_Bow-56

MARVELOUS!  Thank you all, just one question, why is he showing a Toronto cemetery category?  If he is buried in or near Petircodiac, that is nowhere near Toronto.  A find-a-grave memorial may just be that, a memorial and not the actual place of burial.  And he is now connected to his parents.  laugh

The Toronto cemetery may be a cenotaph. I can't find his parents on Findagrave, but its possible they haven't been added yet.
well, my informant stated he had seen the grave and Everett was buried with his father, so will take the category out.  Always a bit leery of FAG myself.

sounds like a likely ancestry line.
Alfred's death record.  https://archives.gnb.ca/Search/VISSE/141C4.aspx?culture=en-CA&guid=130fd3f8-87df-4886-991f-de51564341ba

Notice both are in Forest Glen.  The small community stradles the county line between Albert and Westmorland Counties and is close to Petitcodiac.
The 1871 census has a 19 year old Alfred with parents John, aged 59 and Ann aged 49.  John is likely a child of one of those listed above.  Locality is Upham, Kings County.
James Debow is already in Wikitree with his ancestors.  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Debow-25

I would say you have a skeleton of a tree now.

Here's Alfred's page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Debow-55

Edit:  Merged with De_Bow-56

I've followed up his mother's line as well and connected her to Peter Lutz, one of my ancestors.  Now I know Everett DeBow is a cousin.

I created Huldah Emmons. I also located Findagrave memorials for he and his wife (who seems to have two).
